Who I am


I am a mom of 3 kids (2 years old, 4 years old and almost 40 years old =).

Here are my daily dose of happiness: Eating yummy home cooked food by my husband, doing fun *adventurous stuff* with my kids, *cooking* Indonesian food with my family and being outside in the great Seattle drizzle and shine ... And when I am not doing all that, I work as Technical Program Manager.

Healthier recipes that I tried

OK. I lied a bit... recipes that my hubby tried. I try to cook, but mostly easy stuff that pass my hubby scrutiny, which is pretty high bar to pass. Doehh ... his family business are restaurants. Most of the time, my hubby cooks for our family. Lucky me right =). I become the executive chef without ever being a line chef. Since we've been trying to get healthier lately, I am putting all the healthier recipes here.

The part that is true is: I love dessert ... hence I love to bake. I used to eat dessert before my meal. Gotta make sure I have enough room for 2 desserts.

Fun activities in Pacific Northwest

I love doing stuff. I love trying new restaurants, going to festival, checking out museum, trying new class (art, sports, whatever), being outdoor (hiking, kayaking, you name it). So you will see a lot of posts on things to do in Pacific Northwest.

Fun family activities at home 

With small kids, I can't be out all the time. I used to try doing activities to entertain my kids. But I realize, I have to do something that I like too. My kids know when I don't really enjoy what I am doing. 

Why I write this blog


Someday I'd love to be a professional blogger. But if not, this will be a good family diaries for my kids. Hopefully this will remind them of the good days when times are rough.
